Opening Hours Block

The Opening Hours block displays your business’s regular operating hours on the front end of your site. In Local Business Schema Pro, this block pulls data directly from the Business Details → Opening Hours settings in the backend, ensuring your displayed hours always stay in sync with your structured data.

Purpose

Use the Opening Hours block to:

• Clearly show your regular business hours to visitors
• Keep front-end content consistent with backend settings
• Improve user trust by avoiding conflicting hour information
• Generate accurate opening hours schema for search engines

How the Data Works

The Opening Hours block does not require manual input.

• All hours are managed in the Business Details settings
• The block automatically displays the saved opening hours
• Any updates in the backend are instantly reflected wherever the block is used

This ensures a single source of truth for your business hours.

How to Add the Opening Hours Block

1. Open the page or post in the WordPress block editor.
2. Click Add Block (+).
3. Search for Opening Hours.
4. Insert the block where you want your business hours to appear.

Block Settings

Time Format

• 12-hour
  Displays time with AM/PM (e.g., 8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
• 24-hour
  Displays time in 24-hour format (e.g., 08:00 – 17:00)

Output Format

• Summarized
  Groups days with identical hours into a single line
  Example:
  Mon–Fri 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  Sat–Sun Closed
• Raw
  Displays each day individually as stored in the settings

HTML Tag

Choose which HTML element wraps the output:

• div
• p
• Other supported container tags

This is useful for matching your theme’s markup or styling requirements.

Example Output

• Mon–Fri: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Sat–Sun: Closed

Best Practices

• Always manage hours from the Business Details settings, not directly in the editor.
• Use the Summarized output for cleaner layouts on contact or about pages.
• Place the block near:
