This requires Posts widget in the page to filter.
Posts Filter
To add the widget, look for “posts filter” in the elements section at the left then drag the widget to Elementor page builder.
Prerequisite
You need to have posts widget added to the page with Query ID already set.
Filter Options
Filter Type – either date archive or category/taxonomy.
Show Description – applicable for category/taxonomy type. Enable if you want to display category description.
Post Type – post type to filter (eg. posts, page, or custom post types).
Taxonomy – applicable for category/taxonomy type. This is the available taxonomy for the selected post type.
Display Type – either select dropdown or HTML links
Load Result via Ajax – enable this if you want to load the page in ajax(without refreshing the page)
Target Query ID – This is the query ID set in the “Posts” widget.
